The successful Sr. Systems Engineer candidate will have the following field experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills while working with individuals at management and executive levels
• Problem solving skills with high attention to detail, ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and travel to remote locations
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 - 2019 and Active Directory (Certification Preferred)
• Microsoft Exchange 2003 - 2019 (certification preferred)
• Microsoft Office 365 and Office 365 migrations
• Implement and manage anti-spam systems (Barracuda, FortiMail, TrendMicro HES…)
• Design, implementation, configuration and support of Extreme Networks, Fortinet Networks, Cisco Networks, and other switch/router/firewall vendors 
• Network monitoring tools, such as Extreme Management Center, Observium/LibreNMS, and other platforms that monitor server and network infrastructure
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Experience:
• Administration of VMware (VSphere 5.x, 6.x,, Horizon View, VMWare Unified Access Gateway)
• Display vast knowledge of different network infrastructure, working up though the OSI  model, on a CCNA to CCNP Route / Switch level (ACLs, Prefix Lists, HSRP/VRRP, MLAG, VPC, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, NAC)
            • Design, implementation, configuration and support of:
                        • Storage Platforms (NetApp, HP Nimble, HP 3Par…)
                        • Enterprise backup and Restore Solutions
                        • Enterprise grade servers (HP, Dell, Lenovo…)
                        • Corporate Antivirus and Anti-SPAM Systems (TrendMicro, Symantec, Sophos…)

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Installing, configuring, and upgrading network operating systems and applications using standard industry best practices
• Installing, configuring, and supporting servers, PCs, network hardware, and peripheral devices (such as switches/routers/firewalls and related hardware)
• Systems Administration (i.e. account management, Active Directory support, data backups)
• Analyzing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems
• Communicating with internal sales and project teams, while also communicating to end user clients/customers about the status of a project/ticket or event
• Addressing client needs using initiative, independent judgment, and established procedures
• Organizing work, setting priorities, and meeting critical deadlines
• Accurately designing and documenting client infrastructures
• Completing assigned projects and support tickets while accurately recording time and activities

This position will also require working closely with our sales team and the customer to identify business and technology needs and assist with architecting the solution. Consulting guidance and recommendations on topics such as networking, capacity planning, performance tuning, administration, security, and remote monitoring will be required. Effectively communicating project status, activities, and findings in oral and written formats is also required.

Job Title:
IT Senior Sales Executive - Albany

Job Summary:
This individual will be assigned to the Infrastructure Management Solutions (IMS) Division of ATEC Group and will be selling security, consulting, infrastructure, storage, and virtualization services in the North East. With support from Marketing, this person will be responsible for achieving sales goals, developing a robust pipeline and identifying new market opportunities.

The successful candidate will be a proven sales leader with exceptional relationship development skills coupled with a history of consistent quota achievement selling complex solutions within a highly competitive environment.

Responsibilities Include:
Working with the ATEC Group sales and marketing function to identify opportunities; working with the vendor partners and marketing to position ATEC Group solutions developing a sales strategy; identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities.

Location:
This position will cover the Albany/Upstate New York territory.

Successful Candidate Attributes:
• 7+ years of prominent, large account management experience
• Considerable experience selling services for Infrastructure Solutions at a senior decision-maker level
• Detailed, measurable experience in negotiating contracts

Job Title:
QE Test Specialist - Albany

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology or its equivalent.

Duties:

  • Analyze project documentation including functional requirements ensures that requirements are testable, and the full ranges of system aspects are being tested.
  • Work with product management, internal and external development teams, to define and refine requirements
  • Prepare Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test cases for Application System testing, Integration testing and regression testing.
  • Execute Test cases, Analyze Test results and Report/Track defects using Jira.
  • Participate in Business/Application requirement. Conduct reviews (Estimation/ Test plans/Test Cases).
  • Create Test Data and get the test data by interacting with different teams.
  • Write and execute test cases to enhance quality of products delivered to end users and document, resolve defects, and sign off from application.
  • Lead validation and verification efforts of multiple products and solutions product line and smart city solutions
  • Design, develop and implement testing strategy for products and integrated (hardware/devices, firmware and software) solutions
  • Identify customer deployments and create end to end test environments in lab for validation
  • Participate all stages of the product development cycle: design, prototype, development, integration, test, and delivery

Solution Architect

Job Duties:

  • Lead the SAP Solution management and solution architecture of SAP Modules , solutions and automation throughout project life cycle (Business development, Scoping, Design, Development and Ongoing operations).
  • Responsible to ideate, create and support proof of concept (POC)/demos and present solutions to client and multiple stakeholders.
