Our ATEC Group team had a wonderful time at the annual SUNY Technology Conference (STC) held last week in beautiful Lake Placid! Our Account Executives had the chance to attend informative technology sessions and connect with SUNY computing, media, and telecommunication professionals from across the state.
The SUNY Technology Conference Celebrates 25 Years
The SUNY Technology Conference is assembled by the SUNY Computing Officers Association, Telecommunications Officers Association, and Educational Technology Officers Association. The goal of the conference is to join technology communities together so they can collaborate, learn about advances in the marketplace, and address common technology concerns. This year, the STC celebrated 25 years of fellowship and collaboration!
Here’s what our ATEC Group Account Executives had to say about their experience:
“The STC event this year brought together many IT leaders from each of the SUNY campuses to share their challenges and objectives for the coming year. While most of the attendees we had the chance to speak with had different perspectives on technology, we noticed that many of them still face common IT challenges. I enjoyed having the opportunity to listen to these challenges and discuss ways to create a better outcome for all involved”
– Ken McKenna, Client Director
“Educational institutions have such unique technology needs compared to many other industries. STC was a great platform to dive deeper into the needs, pain points, and changes that SUNY schools are seeing in regard to end users, security, networking, and BYOD becoming the norm. I enjoyed the insight that the attendees could provide and hope to connect with them again soon!”
– Shikole Struber, Account Executive
